THE BLUSHING BRIDES

The Blushing Brides formed around 1979, started by singer Maurice Raymond and guitarist Paul Martin. Shortly after their launch the band garnered a reputation as the world's foremost tribute to the Rolling Stones. Their uncanny resemblance to the Stones, musically and physically, combined with their relentless touring across North America resulted in a hysteria like phenomena of success for The Blushing Brides. Capacity sold out shows were the norm. The band and their audience engaged nightly in a surreal channeling of a Rolling Stones’ live concert experience. Seeing The Blushing Brides in an intimate club setting drove Stones’ fans wild. Many thought they were seeing the real deal only inches away. Music critics reviewing the Brides’ shows proclaimed that not only did they look like the Rolling Stones, they actually sounded better. During their career The Blushing Brides have performed over 3,500 shows across North America. In 2019 they celebrate 40 years of performance and touring. The Brides’ current set list includes Stones’ material from the early 60s albums thru to the Mick Taylor 70s era as well as gems from classic albums such as Some Girls and Tattoo You and select cuts from recent Stones’ releases.
